Ultrasilver is a coated material in which the metallic particles are enveloped in binder, such that, the material becomes non-conductive, enabling electrographic printing technology to be used for best effect. The surfaces exhibit a beautiful silver-matt silk finish, which can be used for the highest quality packaging or labelling.
MDV has double-side coated paper in 125-360 gsm weights, and has single-side coated materials in 120 and 235 gsm. In addition, 78 gsm single-side coated product is offered for self-adhesive conversion for labelling applications. The technology is not limited to paper, and includes PET films in 50 microns, single-side for labelling, and 100 microns, double-side for high-value posters.
